Great Decisions Program

The Great Decisions Program is beginning next week. Great Decisions is an annual series of lectures and follows a publication of the Foreign Policy Association. This program is sponsored by the League of Women Voters and the Rotary Club. They meet in the Rotary Room (where we meet) from 7-9. This series is truly an intellectual escape! Taste of Chocolate - February 5th

The Bremen Junior Woman's Club has invited us to their Taste of Chocolate to benefit the Ferst Foundation. Their event is 2/5/11 from 2-4 pm, at the Rock Building in Bremen, GA. There is a $10 donation for all you can eat chocolate- chocolate fountains, chocolate canolis, cakes, cookies too!! Hope you can go, take your families!!

Day of Service - January 8th

To celebrate Governor-Elect Nathan Deal's upcoming inauguration, he has planned for Saturday, January 8th to be a Day of Service. This will be celebrated locally by beautifying Knox Park at the corner of Austin and Adamson Avenues. Join them as they plant trees and flowers as well as adding to the current landscaping. The morning shift will be from 9 am to 12 pm and then an afternoon shift from 12 pm to 3 pm.
